Hello, world !
Well, this is my first blog post since April 2002… Back then, I did try to write a blog, first using Userland Radio, then using CityDesk. I never had the discipline to keep it going, though, and I didn’t like Radio or Citydesk too much. Well, Citydesk was pretty fine, but it was proprietary and payware. Now, I’ve found a nice blogging tool, DotClear, which is implemented in PHP and using MySQL as its background database. Plus, I have a few things to publish, so maybe this time I’ll keep it going
!
I’d like to have a Wiki / Blog mix, especially written in Python, but for now I haven’t found the exact mix I want. Plus, the hosting provider I use does not support mod_python. Wait, maybe it does support Python CGI-BINs ? If it does, I could try to use DotClear for the weblog part, and MoinMoin for the Wiki part. Let me try…
